Josh Black is the editor-in-chief of Activist Insight, handling the company’s news, publications, vulnerability reports and public relations. In 2014 he relaunched the first magazine dedicated to shareholder activism, now known as Activist Insight Monthly. Mr. Black is regularly interviewed by the media as an expert on shareholder activism, and also speaks at conferences on a frequent basis.
Joe Manko, Jr. has over 20 years of investment experience, predominately in the asset management, investment banking, private equity and corporate securities markets. From 2005-2010 Mr. Manko was a Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Switzerland-based BZ Fund Management Limited, where he was responsible for corporate finance, private equity investments, three public equity funds and the firm’s Special Situations and Event-Driven strategies. Prior to that Mr. Manko was a Managing Director with Deutsche Bank in London where he was head of their European and Asian Equity Capital Markets business. He began his investment banking career at Merrill Lynch as a Vice President in Hong Kong. 
Waheed Hassan leads the Activism Defense Practice at Alliance Advisors. He has extensive experience in advising C-suite and boards on shareholder activism both with respect to M&A and proxy fights for board representation. Prior to joining Alliance, he managed the M&A/Proxy Contest research team at Institutional Shareholder Services ("ISS"). At ISS, he provided advisory vote recommendations on 100+ contested M&A transactions and proxy contests including Target, Barnes & Noble, NRG Energy, and Office Depot. Overall, Mr. Hassan has been involved in over 200 activist campaigns with combined market value of targeted companies in excess of $150B.
